Merry Christmas Ya Flithy Animals

Just a quickie to say MERRY CHRISTMAS WOO!

This is an AMAZING jumper from EBAY that Jess and I got our housemate Shauna for christmas!

I hope you all had lovely days yesterday eating too much (and today) and opening treats. Christmas is definitely the time for over indulgence....verra bad! I don't actually celebrate until the 7th Jan because my family is Greek Orthodox which is LONGGG having to wait an extra 2 weeks (ish) for treats! I shouldn't be complaining though as I technically get two Christmases!! HOOORAYY. But this means by the time I get back to uni I'll be a proper heffa. :(

Here are some photos I've taken on Instagram in the past few days. I know I'm in DESPERATE need of an outfit post but it might have to wait until I'm back at uni in the New Year!

Found this card in Paperchase and it made me laugh. They have some other ones similar to this too.

This was the xmas dinner we had at uni...yum yum yum

My guy friends at home think they are hilarious and made me this

Saving the best until last...SANTA PAWS...aka Keith! This was taken a few weeks ago...he is getting much bigger!!

You can follow me on Instagram here!

I received some false eyelashes from Undercover Glamour in the post recently so I'm excited to try them out back at uni and do a post about them! You should def check out their website in the run up to new year as they have some really great party stuff for the perfect night out!

Sorry about the short post!

Street Girl : Company Magazine

During my internship at Company Magazine I was asked to take part in a feature that they have every month in the magazine. The feature is called "Street Girl" where the stylist styles three girls as if they have been spotted on the street wearing amazing clothes. I had so much fun being part of the shoot and here are the results:

This is the outfit I'd probs actually wear, the boots were Kurt Geiger and were AMAZING. Casually fell over in them tho in front of everyone which was hot and dangerous...not. :(

Andy Pandy:
Anyone who knows me will know this is not my normal styling!

What do you think? I haven't actually seen it in the magazine yet! Cringe!

Got my hair did...

This weekend I've been really lazy, mainly looking after one of my best boys:

My bestie Keith, after Keith Lemon, because they are both ginger! How much do we love him??? eeee! Best Christmas Present EVAHH

In other news today I've been wearing my brand new clip in hair extensions, courtesy of Undercover Glamour

I'm really bad at putting my own extensions in so I got my bestie housemates Shauna to do it for me. It made such a difference to my hair in both length and volume. Usually hair extensions are SO expensive but these are unbelievable at only £59.99!!! Its real hair too so its amazingly soft and glossy, defs perfect for christmas parties and new year too.

They're great for giving extra volume! I wish my hair looked this amazing all the time!

I'm wearing:

- Coat - River Island -
- Maroon Top - Topshop -
- Shorts - Topshop -
- Belt - Primark -
- Necklace - H&M -

The coat is my fave item of clothing at the moment, its so cuddly and warm and I love the leather sleeves. I really wanted the khaki jacket with leather sleeves but the world and its mother seem to have that so this is a bit different!

The polo-neck ish top was £10 at Topshop but I discovered a load more on ebay for like £4 which is a bit annoying so I got them in all the colours of the rainbow ha ha ha. Also a DISCOPANT fabric one which can be found on ebay too. Can't wait for it to arrive so that I can show you all!

I've been so bad buying myself all these lovely thangs and forgetting I still need to find some money for xmas pressies!

Holidays are coming...

So today I'm avoiding work and jumping on the bandwagon and doing a christmas wish list. Christmas is that time of the year when you have saved up money and want to buy the world and his dog for yourself but you know deep down you need to buy presents.... wahhh

1. Firstly, seeing as its nearly christmas I really hope santa brings me some sparkly tights. I don't think they would be the most flattering things on but they are so fun and festive! I found mine at WeLoveTights.com.

I reckon in a week they will be knocking about everywhere on the high street!

2. Not sure if I'mm 100% on board with the 'midi' trend but this is such a bargain:

Jersey Midi Dress

3. As if I ever need to add to my lingerie collection, one more wouldn't hurt I guess:

Vintage Style Bralet

4. I'm in LOVE with these Sixty Seven Boots

5. Lastly, how cute are these? I recently got my seconds pierced on my ears so I'm on the hunt for studs!

What are you hoping will materialise under the the christmas tree this year?

Look what just arrived in the post for me! eeee! I love getting post!

Latching On To You

Its that time of year where the gorgeous Victoria Secrets Angels strip down to their underwear and parade around making women everywhere VERRA jealous!

My ultimate angels are Adrianna Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio.

Which of the girls are your ultimate angel?

Shockingly, I'm doing another post about lingerie! I went to the sample sale for lingerie brands in London the other day, was literally in heaven. We went quite late after uni which meant that loads of the good stuff had already gone. However, not to be defeated I still managed to find some bargains from Mimi Holliday, Damaris and Laviscious. HOLLA.

I finally managed to get my paws on the ultimate pants:

- The Damaris Basket Knicker -

Don't think it even needs a comment, they do all the talking! Very hot and dangerous.
What do we think?!

Leather Disc Body

Ooooh first ever tutorial! Wait for it...

Last year I saw the most beaut shirt on Topshop:

Some of us, however, are not made of money and at £60 I thought I could recreate it in a similar way for a fraction of the price so thats what I did...

You will need:

- Black chiffon body or shirt
- Scissors
- Leather (1/2 metre - I used faux leather, the real stuff is too expensive obv!)
- Needle and thread
- A glue stick or similar circular object to use as a template for your leather discs
- Quite a lot of patience

1) Start with a black chiffon shirt or body (I was originally going to use a shirt but I think a body is a big easier to work with because chiffon is quite a tricky, slippy fabric. My body below cost £12.99 from H&M.

2) Cut out the discs from the leather. I got my leather from a market stall, I got 1/2 metre (which is probably too much as I had loads left over) and it cost about £4. I used the bottom of a pritt stick for my template. I also used two different sized circles as it makes the finished item look more interesting and layered. The cutting out bit takes ages so I roped in my housemates and got a production line going in front of a film ha ha.

3) Once I had enough circle discs I pinned a few onto the body for a rough guide of where to start sewing them on.

4) Start sewing! This took quite a while and requires the most patience and quite be a bit frustrating but worth it as it looks amazing in the end!

Front View

For a more scaly look I graduated my discs, its less severe looking than just a block section of discs.

Back view

What do you think of the finished product?! Its such a great night out option and looks good with anything high waisted.

Have you done any customising? My bestie and housemate Jess is all over customising her clothes but I don't have as many good ideas as her!

Undercover Glamour- Stick On Bra

Anyone who knows me or any of you that read my blog know that I have a HUGE obsession with lingerie and a few weeks ago I got sent some stick on bras from company Undercover Glamour, who produce a number of girly items to make us all look amazing on a night out, and obviously I was very excited to try out the bras!!

We've (well the girls) have all been there....we find an amazing show stopping top or dress. One problem: its backless. Instantly this decreases the bras you can wear with the outfit. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing bad about having your bra show, esp if its a fun neon number or whatever. But I think its hot and dangerous is all you can see is your skin. I guess you could always go bra-less but I'm not brave enough for that! Also its not very practical if you are lucky enough to have big boobs!

This is where Undercover Glamour comes in and saves the day for girls everywhere. I got sent The Fabric Party Stick on Bra which is adhesive and joins at the middle to give you a bit of a boost. I wore it this weekend on a night out with a backless top I got from ASOS (pictured below) it was really comfortable and stayed in place! (Unlike other stick on bras I've tried before!!)

Similar to the fabric bra except that the silicone bra has added 'chicken fillets' for a bit more of a boost and I found that the silicone caused friction with the fabric of my dress, making sure it didn't slip around or move out of place!

As you can see the bra isn't visible at all and it gives a great shape, looks like your not wearing a bra without being flat as a pancake.

Backless top.

These bras are a life saver for the backless dress situation, they retail at £12.99 for the fabric stick on bra and £14.99 for the silicone stick on bra- I think every girl should have one.

Forget diamonds, stick on bras are literally a girls best friend.
