Leather and Lace

Yesterday I had my LAST EVER exam in education ever!!! Such an amazing feeling, only now have 2 more assignments to hand in but they are fashiony ones so currently planning a photo shoot yay!!

So upset that my housemates and I are leaving our kitty flat on tuesday...after having been unceremonisly thrown out! HUH! We are planning on having a big partyyyy on sunday to celebrate the end of unayyy and also to put a big fat middle finger up to our landlord...hahaha!

Before I get on to my outfit post I recently stumbled across Uniprice which is an online fashion retailer that has so many amazing brands to choose from. I've put together some of my fave things from the website below:

Shoes - Acne
Blouse - Jonathan Simkhaki
Jeans - True Religion
Necklace - Gabriele Frantzen
Bag - Chanel

Deffo worth a look!

Apologies for my outfit not being very summery...need to invest in a new wardrobe, I'm wearing so much black the the moment.

- Dress - Primark -
- Lace crop top - Topshop -
- Boots - Topshop -
- Necklace - H&M -

In need of an AMAZING grad ball dress but don't know where to look!? Help!!

You could be my ice age sugar

You will all be impressed with myself and Jess for venturing beyond our normal outfit post area. The 'nice' (ish) weather encouraged us to cross the road and check out the park across from our flat.

To be honest it wasn't that great but it was good to mix things up a bit. We've been craving freedom from our kitty flat because out dissertation deadline was on Wednesday so we've been work work work work work and no play...not fun! We went out last night though and made up for it haha

Today was a bit of a write off due to the hungover state we were in. We spent all day in the library though so some bits got done.

WAHHHH- can't wait for all the work to be romeo dunn!!! Doing a fashion shoot tomorrow which is helping out for Kitty Jess's fashion project...I have one next week for mine and cannot wait to show you all the photos! YAYYYY! - follow me on INSTAGRAM to see behind the scenes stuff! (LEXIEVEEE)

Hope you are all having a bit more fun than me!

Also does anyone have any suggestions about where I can get an amaze balls dress for grad ball?!?

Started from the bottom now we here...

Hey, hey! Its finally the Easter Holidays! Unfortunately this doesn't mean chill out time for us third years at Uni, if anything this is where everything gets really crazy! :(((

I'm back in Oxford for a few days which feels a bit strange but its so nice having food cooked for me. Its grandy seeing all my besties though :) and of course being reunited with my very own easter bunny, Keith, who is chilling beside me as I write this! <3

Here is (another sighhhh) snowy outfit post from a few days ago, wheres the summer at?!
I don't know why but I look extra tanned in these photos, I think its the snow's whiteness against my skin.

I'm wearing:

- Leather Skirt - H&M -
- Lumberjack Shirt - Casually stolen from Jess's wardrobe -
- Off the shoulder top/dress - Miss Guided -
- Faux fur stole - My mum's -
- Faux fur hat - Birmingham clothes show -
- Chelsea Boots - Topshop -
- Peace Belt - Primark -

I have done nothing exciting with this Easter bank holiday, my dissertation is the meaning of my life at the moment....very dull! Cannot wait for summer time! Lots of exciting things happening. :)))

March Wishlist

Well well well....My main wish for March is for my dissertation to be done and dusted and preferably write itself and then for a lot of money to come my way and THEN for someone to take me on holiday where I can get lovely and bronzed and spend the entire time drinking cocktails.

Third year is finally in the full blown process of breaking me! :(

Thats enough moaning anyway...no negativity, I am planning on having a very busy and productive week... watch this space I guess.

1 + 2. On a recent perv on the Topshop website I saw these amazing neon jumpers. I really like the Neon trend and seeing as it seems to be getting colder rather than warmer I think these crop jumpers are perfect for layering up! TOPSHOP - £30

3. Something I'd layer with the crop jumpers, I'm not really a huge shirt person but this one if so cute and versatile. It would look great with jumpers or on its own with a statement necklace tucked into a skater skirt or on its own with disco pants. TOPSHOP - £35

4. These shoes are to die for, in my opinion, I know my housemates think otherwise- they referred to them as KITTEN HEELS! excuseeee me! They have obviously never seen a proper kitten heel! Come on now! I saw them on another blog recently and they looked incredible on! WIN WIN. EBAY - £15.99 (come in different colours too)

5. After lusting over the Zara sheepskin black and white coat since it first arrived in store I have found a much cheaper alternative from trusty old ebay. EBAY - £26.00

6. This chunky chain would be perfect with almost any outfit I think and its so easy to wear, a definite staple in my IMAGINARY (sigh) wardrobe. BOOHOO - £8.00

7. Now anyone how knows me at all or regularly reads my blog knows I HATE jeggings/leggings WITH A BURNING PASSION. Don't get me wrong I think loads of girls look amazing in them but I think they look vile on myself hence the hate for them! However, have you seen these ACNE back zip jegging jeans? I can't  get over them, they are even my background photo on my phone and I have posted so many photos of them on instagram ( LEXIEVEEE - follow here :) ) Acne is obviously very expensive but I found a pair on House of Fraser for £80, winnnnnninnnnng!!!
HOUSE OF FRASER - £80

So thats my March wish list ... what do you guys think? Have you had your eye on any amazing pieces recently?

Better get back to the dissertation!

Alphabet Soup

Third day in a row of blogging, this definitely means that my procrastination has reached its peak! Verrrrah bad!

I've had such a lazy weekend, stayed in all weekend just doing work and watching TV, rockstar lifestyle...one day...!

The main item in this post is this amaze balls shirt, with the alphabet printed on it! I saw it and had to have it. I was surprised to find it in primark for like £12.00 or something. It sort of could pass as a vintage item.

- Shirt - Primark -
- Jacket - Zara -
- Skirt - H&M -
- Ring/Bracelet - River Island -
- Boots - Topshop
- Stole - My mums (Stolen from her coat!) -

I paired the shirt with a trusty leather skirt (what else?!) added a little bow ribbon around the collar and a black jacket and black leather boots. I attempted putting my hair up into a bow but its a bit of a fail today I'm afraid, check out my instagram LEXIEVEEE for a better version of this hair style!

I really wish I had something else than the leather skirt to rely on in times of an outfit crisis but I really like the skater style and its so flattering and goes with EVERYTHING, but I won't be happy until I find something else. Its really hard though as I hate wearing leggings and jeans are so hard to find the right pair.

Whats your staple piece at the moment?

Oooh, also I am having a bit of a wardrobe clear out so please check my ebay page to see if you fancy yourself a bargain, everything is starting at 99p so its deffo worth a look.

My Wish List

I'm currently in the process of editing an outfit post so bear/bare (which oneee!? ha ha) with me.

In the meantime I'm trying to blog more because I've been a bit slack recently. So I thought I would compile a wish list of bits and bobs that I've had my eye on recently. This is the first time I've done a proper one of these because I've started teaching myself how to use photoshop. Very proud ha ha

1) When I first saw these dungarees in River Island I wasn't very impressed and thought they were not really my sort of thing but I saw some pictures of a blogger wearing them at LFW and thought it looked so much better on. I need them! I think for £40.00 its pretty reasonable for such a statement piece which can easily be dressed up or dressed down.

2) This t-shirt is from studded petals which is a website supplying fun prints on t-shirts. Unfortunately it has literally just been taken off the website so I'm in the search of another so if anyone has seen something similar lemme know!!! :)

3) These PERCY boots are sooooo hot and dangerous! I saw them the other day on the topshop website but they are a casual £110 so on my wish list they shall remain for the foreseeable future. wah wah wah.

4) Crown and Glory do the best head pieces. I've wanted a floral crown like this since forever. Would look amazing at Glastonbury or any festival for that matter. This one was my faveee from the website but at £20 I could probably make it myself. (OMG I'm such a student!!!)

5) See through clutch bag. Found this one on ebay and ordered a see through plain version, but the pictures for the one I got were a bit crappy. For £12.99 its definitely a DIY jobby but I loved it so much and I have no patience so had to order it straight away.

6) Fuck Off Necklace. I've been searching for this for ages but still haven't managed to find it online. Appaz you can get stuff engraved for cheap in jewellery shops but I'm too lazy for this ha ha ha.

I'm pretty poor at the moment as per usual! However I have everything crossed that I gets bursary very soon from my uni!

What does everyone think? What are on your wish lists?

I don't wanna see you go, I want somebody to love me

Oh my goshhh, I have been such a bad blogger recently, same old boring story of having wayyyy to much work time and not enough play time!! I'm going to be such a recluse for the next 8 weeks up until I graduate! Verrrahhh verrahhh scary- what am I going to do with myself?!

I've spent my time recently drooling over the mods at LFW! Casually obsessed with Rosie Tapner after seeing her walk for TOPSHOP UNIQUE (making out as if I attended when I definitely did not! ha ha) She's hot and dangerous.

I literally never ever wear lipstick because I think on me, it looks like I'm wearing slightly too much make up. Anyway, I got this MAC lipstick to try out, its called CAMDEN and I actually quite like it. The only problem is its quite creamy and so doesn't really stay on for long which is really annoying having to keep reapplying!

My dress here is from Primark, I'm starting to think the maroon colour is overdone now though! I'm excited to see all the neon thats going to be coming out for aw13.

-Necklace - Primark -
- Boots - Topshop -
- Jacket - Zara -
- Hat - Topshop -
- Stole - H&M-
HATE THE HIGHSTREET...NOT

The sun keeps teasing us by being out but as soon as you step out the door its FREEZING COLD. Don't play me like dis!!

I've gone instagram made recently so if you wanna see follow me (there is a button at the top right of my blawgg!) Thanks besties
